Talk Shivi is based out of Astoria. We combine emo melodies with funk and R&B grooves. It's a sad dance party, but you'll have a good time anyway. Our members play in bands like Jennah Vox, Full Cookie and The Altar Boys.
Nancy Rose
Singer/Songwriter Nancy Rose crafts a seamless meld of dreamy indie pop and wistful R&B that evokes names like Billie Eilish, Emily King, and Lianne la Havas. Her music is available on all streaming platforms with her indie-pop duo band Enohem.
Born in NYC, Nancy grew up with music playing constantly throughout the household as a result of her audiophile father’s lucrative jazz habits. Young and soulful, her music style is constantly evolving and open to new influences and whims. At her core, Nancy is a storyteller of the heart and a performer for a good time.
22 Brides
22 Brides is a band formed by sisters Carrie and Libby Johnson in the late 90’s. 22 Brides released four critically-acclaimed albums on the Zero Hour/Universal Record labels. They were featured artists in Billboard Magazine, guests on the World Cafe, broke their hit song, “Another Distant Light” on 99X out of Atlanta, GA and toured the US and Canada extensively from concert halls to festivals. After several years of touring, the sisters put 22 Brides on hold while they raised families and went on to pursue solo projects. Their new single "Beautiful Ones” features the duo’s signature folk-pop sound and was written to support ALTSO, a global non-profit that assists children with mobility.
22 Brides will begin recording their next album in 2022 and are currently touring on the East coast.
