Bush Düf ascends to Heaven Can Wait for another Thursday night in Manhattan, this time with MadRomantic and Marsweather. Ben Zo invites the two Brooklyn-based selectors for a sonic summit celebrating their similar backgrounds spinning hip-swaying house and the dirtiest disco. A recognized DJ at beloved Bushwick haunts including Happyfun Hideaway and Jupiter Disco, MadRomantic carves familiar melodies into extended, unique rhythms in a way that makes the typical top-40 DJ feel like paint drying. Likewise, Marsweather has been rocking the boroughs for years at this point, but the Acid Mama stalwart knows better than most how to keep a floor grooving with his vast and varied repertoire even among recent performances. Whether it's at the newly-inaugurated Good Bar or Knockdown Center for this year's Fourth World, he is skilled as mixer as he is discerning a selector, which is why we're thrilled to invite both him and MadRomantic for what is each their düf debut.
